Quick Page Overview
On Wednesday, December 28, at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney, the 18th match of the Australian T20 League 2022 will take place between the SIX vs REN.
This year’s Sixers season got off to a terrible start. The runner-up from the previous season lost their opening two games by a lopsided score. However, they started winning again after the third game and will be into this one determined to make it three straight. In the previous game, they defeated Melbourne Stars by seven wickets despite needing to score 151 runs in 19.1 overs. In the most recent game, the middle order, which had struggled to contribute in the previous several games, came to the team’s aid.
Melbourne Renegades had won three straight games, but their winning streak came to an end in their last contest against the Hobart Hurricanes, which they dropped by eight runs. Andre Russell, a superb all-arounder for the Renegades, has left the team; Martin Guptill has taken his place. Kane Richardson, Shaun Marsh, and Peter Handscomb have all been added to the roster for this game. In the upcoming bout, Handscomb will make his Renegades debut.

Andre Russell has been replaced in the Melbourne Renegades lineup for the remaining games by Martin Guptill. Kane Richardson, Shaun Marsh, and Peter Handscomb have also joined the Renegades’ roster for this match. From the previous team, Sam Harper, Jake Fraser-McGurk, and Jack Prestwidge were not included.
PITCH ANALYSIS SIX vs REN
This will be Sydney’s third game in the current campaign. The Sixers prevailed in the previous two games, both of which were closely contested. The average first innings score in the last five T20 matches is just around 150 runs, so the pitch should provide something for everyone. The team winning the toss will be tempted to bowl here because the team bowling first has won three of the last five games.
