The third clash of the Indian Football League (IFL) 2020-21 season will be between Odisha vs Hyderabad at the GMC Stadium Bambolim. Both sides will look to start their campaign with a victory.
Both the teams have now bolstered their squads with several new signings, ahead of this year’s league. Odisha FC’s big signings like Manuel Cole Alexander and Onwu, Marcelinho will help the team steer towards victories, while youngsters like Suresh Wangjam, Nandhakumar Sekar, Samuel Lalmuanpuia, Jerry Mawihmingthanga, and Hendry Antony, among others, will add depth to the side.
Odisha – the franchise shifted its base from Delhi to Odisha but couldn’t change its fortunes as they had an average 2019-20 season with 25 points from 18 games.
As for Hyderabad, they had a poor run in the last edition and had finished last in the points table with just two wins and four draws.
They suffered 12 losses and couldn’t find the right mix. However, the side has done a revamp and has a handful of new faces who will don the yellow and black jersey.
