With the brilliant innings of the Faf du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad team, Chennai got a great kickstart by a 74 runs partnership from these openers. Faf du Plessis scored 45 runs in 30 balls, and Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 40 runs in 28 balls. Moeen Ali also contributed 32 runs in 28 balls.
