Gujarat vs Mumbai Team Preview

Team Gujrat

Although Gujarat is a great team, they completely fell short of their potential in their most recent encounter against Lucknow, despite coming out on top. This team has a solid batting order, at least on paper. Wriddhiman Saha is at the top of this team’s batting line, followed by Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, Abhinav Manohar, Vijay Shankar, David Miller, and Rahul Tewatia. However, these batsmen were unable to put up a significant total, scoring only 135 runs in 20 overs.

Gujarat’s bowling team is very strong and skilled. The team’s main bowler is Mohammed Shami, who is supported by Jayant Yadav, Rashid Khan, Mohit Sharma, Noor Ahmad, Hardik Pandya, and Rahul Tewatia. These bowlers did a fantastic job, and their best efforts were the primary factor in their victory. They failed to defend a modest 136-run goal, scoring 128 runs in 20 overs. Noor Ahmad has been a member of this team for a few previous games, and he has simply excelled in every game he has played. With two wickets under his belt in four overs against just 18 runs, he was their side’s most productive and highest wicket-taker.

Team Mumbai

Mumbai was a strong favourite in their last match against Punjab, and they battled well even though they lost. In both innings of this high-scoring game, 415 runs were reached overall. Although the Mumbai’ batting order is powerful, their bowling is lacking, as was shown in their most recent match, in which they let up 215 runs in 20 overs.

In his third match, Arjun Tendulkar performed brilliantly in the opening two overs before taking a 31-run hit in the third. Ason Behrendorff had been part of the bowling squad for a few previous matches, but he had also fallen missing. In just three overs, he was hit for 41 runs. Although Cameron Green performed well in some of the initial games, he didn’t offer his best effort before the match and let up 41 runs in four overs. In the previous game, Jofra Archer was given a chance, but he struggled to defend his selection and let up 42 runs in four overs. Only Hrithik Shokeen and Piyush Chawla’s bowling performances were docked for fewer runs.
